Define (and negotiate/coordinate between different wireless networks) a common node database schema for easier interoperability between node databases and software build upon node data. Some initial work on this (mostly just a mailing list, web site and initial agreement that this would be useful, also some initial ideas) has already been done:

After defining a common schema, covering and documenting various experiences of different open wireless networks on which this schema would be based, an example implementation on one of existing node databases would be necessary to define best practices of how to implement this schema into an existing codebase or implement an interface to it. Maybe some common way (a program?) of (efficiently) translating existing node databases to this common schema would be also an useful approach.
