Description (last modified by mitar) (diff)

The idea is, that, we could connect a weather station to the router and then read the data and draw graphs on nodewatcher. This is most simplest and probably cheepest way to measure weather.

  • construct a circuit, that weather stations could be connected to routers
  • find out which weather stations are most suitable and simplest for connection to router

Please elaborate and go into detail what sensors would be required, so we can make a detailed plan how to proceed.

Would it be more suitable to buy a weather station and connect it or to design our own? We have quite some sensors already.

There are several sensors used in regular weather stations- for temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction and amount of rain. There could be also other sensors added, such as lightening detector, snow height detector, there could be also sensors for some gasses, such as oxigen, CO2 and others. There could also be detector of amount of light, noice detector, and so on and on...
